A folio-sized pale blue box containing 188-page hardcover text volume; two packs of reproduction programmes, tickets, and flyers; a box of forty-three 9 x 7 photographs with index card; VHS recording titled 'The Spirit Of Knebworth' being a compilation of clips including The Rolling Stones, Lynryd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin. SIGNED THRICE by author and legendary promoter Freddy Bannister, firstly to a numbered certificate affixed to the underside of the lid and again to a similar bookplate within the text volume; Bannister has further SIGNED AND INBSCRIBED the book 'to Anton, Best wishes...' Contents in fine condition, inner tray with minor wear (two small tears); outer box with a few smal marks. A fascinating item chronicling the history of the Knebworth Festival, writtewn by it's founder, covering the iconic 70s when three of the greatest acts of the decade headlined; The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. This is the original of several different Bannister/Knebworth collections, variously titled 'Complete', 'Definitive' and 'Total' sets; this version is identified by it's pale blue cloth and VHS cassette, which was later replaced by CDs/DVDs.
