Sharpe's Honour. Bernard CORNWELL, born 1944.

Sharpe's Honour.

London: Collins, 1985. First Edition. Octavo, pp. 320. Red cloth with gilt titles to spine, in pictorial dust wrapper designed by Ian Robertson, showing a broken telescope and a citadel on an opposing hill; unclipped. Binding shows well, with no signs of bumping or of wear. Internally clean, with nominal tanning. Dust jacket is bright and presentable, and likewise shows no signs of rubbing or tears. A devious French general attempts to turn the tide of the peninsular war by making peace between the French and the Spanish, leaving Britain isolated. Sharpe, perhaps unsurprisingly, has none of it. Adapted into an episode of the TV series, starring Sean Bean as Sharpe. Item #44842
