Bound in publisher's russet cloth with large blind stamp depicting tulips adorning front board, gilt title to front board and spine, blind stamp to rear board at lower right-hand corner, ownership bookplate of Richard and Magdalen Goffin to pastedown, fore-edge and tail edge left partially uncut. Cloth boards in good condition, spine slightly sunned, general shelf wear, some dustiness to top edge, all corners bumped, minor age toning to text block, internally clean throughout excepting browned endpapers.
