Association copy, inscribed by Beaton to actress Harriette Johns, who had starred in Alexander Korda's 1947 movie 'An Ideal Husband' for which beaton designed the costumes. Red cloth covers with green titles to spine. Some wear to the covers and the titles along the spine are near illegible through wear, one inch split at the bottom of spine has been repaired, small 'The Times book Club' stamp to rear pastedown.
