London: Macmillan and co., 1898. Prize Binding. Fifth Edition. Octavo. Bound in full blue calf, gilt ruled panelling to boards, with central gilt motif of the arms of Uppingham School to front board; raised bands, red title label and gilt decoraiton to spine; gilt dentelles, gilt decoration to board edges, marbled endpapers. Illustrated with five fold-out maps and six plans. Binding shows well, with rubbing to joints and spine ends, corners bumped, some small scratches to rear board, and spine somewhat faded.
