Publisher's blind-stamped dark green cloth with central wreath device, backstrip ruled in five compartments, lettered in gilt to the second and fourth panels, pale yellow-coloured coated endpapers, edges untrimmed. Some spotting within, spine is tightly rounded and many sections are completely unopened. Inner joints just starting; cloth is particularly bright. A lovely near fine copy in the same format as the first edition (the pagination and plates are the same, and the cloth is similarly styled). Item #40878
