Publisher's green cloth with gilt titles and colour decoration to spine and upper. All edges green; grey endpapers. Blue ink gift inscription to recto of frontispiece. Light spotting and toning throughout; heavy spotting to preliminaries. Moderate rubbing to cloth, with an orange spot to lower board and some bumping to corners. Very good. A swashbuckling Henty-style adventure set during the siege of Malta by the Ottoman Turks in 1565. Item #57575
