Spotting to endpapers; a few gatherings slightly proud. Quite heavy rubbing to cloth with much gilt lost to spine; a few small marks and stains. Very good. With five Sherlock Holmes short stories, including the first to be written from the perspective of Holmes himself, as well as five Wodehouse stories and three by Sapper, among many other fine contributions by other illustrious authors of the period.
