Purple ink ownership stamp to verso of fly-leaf and title page. A little cocked, with a couple of gatherings slightly proud. Light wear and some grubbiness to cloth; spine a little toned. Very good. The 1864 Science Fiction classic, which first appeared in English in 1870, with a book edition published in 1872. This Routledge translation, first published in 1876, is considered the most faithful of the early English editions to Verne's original French. Item #57372
