A consortium of Hudson Bay Company traders set up camp at a remote location in northern Canada, hoping to observe an eclipse and establish a new trading post. All this is forgotten when an earthquake cuts them off from the mainland and pushes them out into the ocean towards Alaska on an iceburg.
