Attlee's distinctive monogram bookplate to front pastedown, over a removed library bookplate. The blurb from the jacket flap pasted to fly-leaf. Both hinges repaired with gummed 'On His Majesty's Service' labels. Some dated stamps to rear pastedown. As brown as they come and extremely brittle, with occasional small chips and tears throughout. Heavy rubbing to cloth, with a library label of some sort removed from upper, and repair to split lower joint. Fair.
