London: Richard Bentley & Son, 1883. [Literary Biography] FIFTH EDITION. Octavo (20 x 14cm), pp.[2] x; 364. With a frontispiece engraving of Jane Austen. Publisher's green cloth with gilt titles to spine and blind decoration to boards. Brown-coated endpapers; all edges untrimmed. Light toning and spotting to edges. A central gathering slightly proud, with a few minor chips to some page edges. Very light wear to cloth, with a little fraying to head and tail of spine. Very good.
