Publisher's elaborate gilt-decorated blue cloth boards, re-backed in the twentieth century with the original gilt-decorated cloth spine laid over. Yellow coated endpapers with blue cloth to hinges. Flyleaf removed. Bookplate of Nelson Diocesan Library to front pastedown. Spotting to preliminaries, edges and plates. Occasional black ink library stamps.
