In recent tan full calf with brown titles to spine. Marbled endpapers and all edges tinted red. In a matching slipcase covered in marbled paper. Edges heavily trimmed. Some browning and a black ink inscription to title page: 'The Gift of Mr. Cowper to George Clerke Esquire, 1773.' Chipping and staining to final three leaves of text (index), including a large linen strip repair to final page. Largely a crisp, clean copy in an attractive new binding. Very good. Item #54061
