Contemporary straight grained brown calf with gilt decoration to spine and gilt titles to recently applied black labels. Marbled endpapers. Black ink ownership to recto of frontispiece. Toned and lightly spotted; some thumbing to preliminaries. Rubbing to board edges and joints, some chipping to head of spine. Very good. Following the landmark publication of 'A New System of Domestic Cookery' (1806), Mrs. Rundell went on to publishing 'American Domestic Cookery' in 1819. Item #53383
